Our new Accounts Payable Clerk will manage our Purchase Ledger, processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements and dealing with internal and external queries. You will also be responsible for maintaining the staff expense system and ensuring payments are made in a timely manner. Working alongside the Management Accountant and Financial Controller, you will review the current processes and make recommendations as to how they might be streamlined or rationalised so as to become more efficient and transparent.
We are looking for someone with proven experience of working in a similar role in an Accounts Payable environment. You will need to be an advanced user of Excel, and first-rate communication skills. Flexibility and a can-do attitude are also necessary as you will be taking on project work and providing cover for the Treasury Assistant when necessary. A good knowledge of SAP would be desirable.
