    To support our expanding business we are looking to recruit a Software Engineer/Analyst Programmer to join our Systems Implementation Team. The successful candidate to this post will be responsible for technical design, development, configuration, customisation and implementation of DCS solutions for customer projects.   

    The candidate should come from a software development background having experience in application development, design and architecture. He/she should have prior experience in using and customising applications in the domain of Document Imaging and Intelligent Information Capture. The candidate will be involved in delivering solutions using the Kofax suite of products and will required to cover a broad range of activities ranging from customising Kofax (requires VB/VB.Net/C# and scripting skills), configuration, implementation, integration with 3rd party systems and deployment of applications within client environment.

    We are looking for candidates who are Kofax certified and have proven industry experience in Kofax Capture and Kofax Transformation Modules.




    • Undertake feasibility study to design software solutions
    • Customise and configure Kofax Capture (requires VB/VB.NET/C# and scripting skills using SBL scripts and Easy Basic scripts)
    • Develop KTM Projects for Invoice and Mailroom automation solutions according to specifications
    • Integrate Kofax with DCS’ Document Management System (FileStore) or other Systems
    • Integrate systems with backend Databases (MS SQL Server, MS ACCESS)
    • Lead architecture and integration discussion with the client team
    • Technical design and configuration of projects involving Kofax and DCS products to meet customer requirements
    • Implement and evaluate Kofax software implementations
    • Develop and deliver custom code required for customisations and integrations.
    • Work alongside DCS Project managers, DCS developers and liaise with the client’s IT staff
    • Undertake testing and bug correction
    • Produce high quality project deliverables
    • Produce good quality and accurate documentation
    • Work as part of a small team and be able to independently handle assigned tasks

    Role Requirements

    Technical Skills and Experience

    • Proven industry experience in the domain of Document Management, Information capture and document imaging domain.
    • Experience in delivering projects using Kofax products
    • Experience in writing scripts in the Kofax environment using SBL Scripting and Easy Basic Scripting
    • Thorough understanding of Kofax Capture platform and KTM scripting model
    • Knowledge of systems architecture and programming languages like – VBScript, VB.Net, C#
    • Experience in working with relational database systems ‐ MSSQL Server, MS ACCESS
    • Experience in interfacing with web services
    • Experience in writing windows services and thick client applications
    • Solid technical and development skills

    Qualifications and Essential Skills

    • A graduate in IT or other technical discipline
    • Certified in Kofax products.
    • Good verbal and written English language skills. Should be able to communicate to all members in an organisation hierarchy
    • Self‐ motivated and proactive
    • Excellent attention to detail with logical approach and an analytical attitude
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working in a large collaborative team
